antique BELGIAN COTICULE RAZOR HONE "BARBERS PET" KNIFE SHARPENING STONE IN BOX

Description

This auction is for an antique "Barber's Pet" Belgian coticule sharpening stone, in the original wooden box.  The stone measure 6" x 2" x .75" thick.  This is an extra fine stone.
This is an older coticule stone, and you can see where the white stone leeches down into the blue portion. There is some darkening to the white stone, and some horizontal hairline cracks.  The stone also has one tiny nick to one corner.  On the blue portion, there is a grain mark that runs through it, but this is not a crack.  The box is missing the label, but you can see the outline of where it was.  Additionally, the box is missing a wood pieces on one end (see pictures).
The printing on the stone is still quite strong.  It is an old piece, and should do wonders on your razors or knives.
