Apricot Kernel Oil
is extracted from the core of the apricot, which is the kernel and this is what is used to produce this exquisite oil. Like Sweet Almond oil, Apricot Kernel oil has a light texture and feel on the skin and is easily absorbed, but it is more suitable for sensitive and mature skin. Apricot Kernel is a popular oil and is suitable for soapers, aromatherapists and massage therapists as it is very rich and nourishing, particularly in vitamin A. Apricot kernel oil is slow to go rancid. Users can expect a shelf life of at least 1 year under proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight).
