About the Jeanette Glass National Pattern:
The "National" line of serving and accessory pieces was made almost exclusively in clear. A 1947 catalog describes it as "gift ware." (credit: Bob Bloesser, Rainbow Review Glass Journal, April 1977). All the pieces are quite heavy, yet they are not clumsy. On a table under lights the clear glass is quite brilliant
