    EARLY CALIFORNIA TRANSITIONAL SPUR 1800 - 1840 #Bas15
    Spanish colonial single spur with engraved brass inlays, 1800 - 1840.  This spur is a little less fancy than the others, double mounted with brass inlays on the 1/2" wide heel bands but no engraving.  The shaft is 1  1/2" long with a very slight drop.  The rowel is much smaller at 1  1/2" with 12 points.  From the Ricky Henson collection.
