This wonderful cinnabar box is completely hand carved elaborately with a Chinese scene of rocks, trees, and an old man sitting in a boat on the cover and a stylized floral motif around the sides. The whole scenes have crisp, finely carved details. The color of this box is a deep red and a black interior. It measures about 3 14/16 inch (or 9.8 cm) in diameter. It is in EXCELLENT condition except for few old very shallow flakes on the rim of the bottom piece, minor damages on the bottom, and the slight old age crazes in the lacquered finish that suggests the age of the piece. buyer remorse because you later feel that your purchase is not of the age or value you were hoping it to be

Return is only accepted when the item is NOT as described and upon the approval of the seller. It is only accepted within 3 days after buyer's receipt of the package.
In the event of a return, we will refund full bid amount upon receiving the item in its original condition.
We do not refund the original postage or pay for return postage.
