    Korean Traditional Totem Poles Village Guardian Jangseung Wood Hand Carved 11''A jangseung or village guardian is a Korean totem pole usually made of wood.     Often given as wedding gifts, this is a set of two, male and female totems printed in Hanja Chinese (traditionally the words or in Hanja or Hangul) for “Great General of All Under Heaven” for the male figure (green lips) and “Female General of the Underworld” for the female figure (red lips).
