A Beautifully Hand Carved and hand painted Festive Mask. I purchased this mask in Seoul over 40 years ago as a wall decoration. It is in great condition as you see. A true piece of Korean artwork. More intriguing is that this Mask I was told was hand curved one piece of wood possible from a tree bark. It’s like wearing a Mini Korean Mt. Rushmore but in wood. This has great painted colors and details which makes it even more meaningful. This is truly a real tradition. The inside is written in Korean which I cannot translate. Has a black cotton hood and tie string.
