Vintage Portable Sieve Shaker no. 4343 – Rare For your consideration is a Vintage TylerPortable Sieve Shaker no. 4343. I do not know much about this item and in researching it, I was unable to find another one like it to get information from, so I will state the facts as they are on the item from what I can see: Shaker stands 24 ½” tall with 9 ½” x 13 ¾” base including the bolt holes. The crank handle is wood and in good shape with some discoloration and minor chipping die to age and use. Gears and movement are smooth and tight. Original paint is about 90%. The shaker holds 8” sieves. Comes 6 sieves and a lid. Functions as intended. I would rate the overall condition of the shaker as excellent. I do not know the exact age, but believe it to be from the 1950’s or earlier. Weight prior to packaging is 38 pounds. A new manual portable shaker costs ,000.00 and more and i doubt the quality of these older ones.
