    Description

This is a PHOTOCOPY of 2 Vintage patterns. One makes a Stuffed Sleeping Cat. The other makes the companion, Sleeping Puppy pattern.
For the kitty: The cat is about 16" long (without the tail) when completed. The cat is made from four pattern pieces (body, under body, tail and ears.) It can be made from terry cloth, fur, or velveteen as well as cotton, cotton poly and flannel fabrics. Use felt scraps for the tongue and eyelids. You can line the ears in contrasting scrap material. The collar is made from ribbon and the bell is optional and purchased separately from the pattern.
For the puppy: The dog about 15" long (without the tail) when complete. It is loosely stuffed. Legs are made separately and seamed into the sides. To make it into a pajama case instead of a stuffed toy, insert a zipper at the underseam and line the inside of the body. Then it will hold sleepwear to other toys. You can make it from napped or smooth fabric. The under-ear may be of contrast fabric. The eyes are made from felt scraps. Embroider the nose.
Instructions are included for making a stuffed toy and a pajama bag. I include a COLOR printout copy of the front cover for each pattern and black and white copies of the back cover, instructions and the complete pattern. Please email me with any questions that you have.
