Vintage Stackpole Wendell August Beer Mug Stein Set With Trays NICE SET!
This set was made exclusively for Stackpole. It includes four aluminum individual beer mugs depicting a bear, deer, pheasant, and turkey. The Forge mark on the bottom was used predominantly from 1945 to 1961 however some items from the 60s and 70s have been documented and have this generic form of the trademark and stamp. I would place the set in the 1960s. The larger tray that is included was also made for Stackpole and it’s made of stainless clad. The mark on the bottom of that tray was introduced in 1961 and continued use into 1978. The smaller plate is aluminum and the same period as the larger tray.
