    Description

    You are bidding on a large vintage Weston Electrical Instrument Company Ammeter.  It would be great for a steampunk application as it has a copper plated front.  The rest of the case appears to be cast iron, as it attracts a magnet.  It appears to be in good usable condition, and a previous owner added a tag which says 10 amp.
    The serial number is 40709, and the last patent date is 1901.   It is roughly 7 3/4 inches in diameter across the front, and the back diameter is 6 1/4 inches.  Not counting the terminals, it is 3 1/2 inches deep behind the panel.  It should be great for your vintage project.
