You are bidding on a SUPERB 1944 1:100000 WW2 German Luftwaffe Fliegerkarte (Pilot Map) as used by both Fighter Pilots and Bomber crews for navigation.
This map is titled "Mittelblatt", and is the
Jagermeldenetzverfahren /
Jagdtrapez version, indicating the more detailed Luftwaffe Pilot Grid.  It is a VERY LARGE size and measures approx. 44" x 50" (3.5 feet x 4.5 feet),
Made of heavy paper, this map is in EXCELLENT condition for its age. It measures a approx. 3.5 feet x 4.5 feet in size, and covers much of Western Europe.  "Ubersichkarte" is written at the top, and overall it includes most of Germany, and parts of Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, France, and Switzerland.  Shows various locations of lakes, seas, towns, villages, cities, and elevations. Also features longitude and latitude degree markings, and Pilot Grid.
Has a printing date of 1944, by the Oberkommando der Luftwaffe.  Some slight creases, wear, and folds, but nothing that detracts.  A
VERY RARE and FANTASTIC addition to any collection, display, or simply as a conversation piece!
