    You are bidding on a SUPERB and VERY RARE WW2 German Aircraft Combat Report!  This specifically outlines a loss of Canadian RCAF Handley Page Halifax V Bomber (DK262) at the hands of Haupt.

    Eckart-Wilhelm von Bonin (14 November 1919 – 11 January 1992) was a German World War II night fighter pilot who served in the Luftwaffe. He is credited with shooting down 37 enemy aircraft claimed during 150 combat missions.  He was eventually promoted to Major, and served as II./NJG1 Gruppenkommandeur between November 18, 1943 and October 25, 1944.  He was award with the Iron Cross, Knight's Cross, German Cross , and Honor Goblet.
    Made of lightweight paper, this German Combat Report is in EXCELLENT used condition!  Dated April 25, 1944, it discusses the loss of a British/Canadian Bomber.  This aircraft specifically being a Handley Page Halifax.  It notes the dates, times, and
    action of the loss, which (though not noted), was DK262.  The full loss history of this aircraft can be found on the "Aircrew Remembered" Website.
    A SUPERB piece of history, it would make an EXCELLENT addition to any collection or display!
