SCARCE to RARE
:  As any historian or collector knows, early American Trade Cards are full interesting historical information!  This particular card was originally printed in vast quantities, to be added to the inside of Lion Coffee packages as a free give-away premium, but now they’re rather difficult to find in good condition.  In fact, it’s extremely hard to collect a complete Lion Coffee trade card set in any condition.  Luckily, young Victorian ladies often glued and protected these cards in scrapbooks as a form of affordable entertainment.  This particular card was nicely saved and removed from a scrapbook dating to the years 1880-1885.  A superb treasure for the dedicated Lion Coffee trade card collector, historian or museum!
GOOD to VERY GOOD CONDITION
.  Faint signs of age and handling.  Stone lithograph.  Straight edges and corners.  Egg glue staining on reverse.  A superb historic artifact in very attractive condition!  Measures: 6” wide by 4-1/4” tall.
